- You import your own schedule — the app never accesses your account or credentials.
- Friend Sharing is opt-in — visible only to connections you both approve.
- No ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics inside the app.
- Your data is never sold.
TripDataHub is an independently developed operational schedule utility for users who manually import, manage, and organize their own schedule information. This Privacy Policy explains what information TripDataHub may collect, how it is used, how optional iCloud synchronization works, and how to contact us.
TripDataHub is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by UPS, CrewAccess, Zscaler, Apple, or any airline, employer, or schedule provider.
01 Information You Provide or Import
TripDataHub may process information that you manually provide or import into the app, including: schedule PDF files you choose to import, parsed schedule information, flight and trip information, layover information, hotel information (if included in the imported schedule), manual Operational Events (such as reserve, long call-out, hot standby, recurrent training, or call-in duty), manual Personal Events (such as commute, medical appointment, or other user-created items), Crew Base settings, UTC / Local time display preferences, and a GEMS ID or similar user-provided operational identifier.
This information is used only to provide TripDataHub functionality, including calendar rendering, timeline rendering, event management, PDF export, and optional synchronization across your own Apple devices.
TripDataHub does not automatically access your schedule system, does not scrape your account, and does not collect your login credentials. You are responsible for manually authenticating with your own schedule source and manually importing your own schedule PDFs.
02 Schedule and Event Data
When you import a schedule PDF, TripDataHub may parse and store schedule-related information so the app can display your timeline, trips, layovers, hotels, and related details. This may include trip dates, flight segments, departure and arrival times, airport or route information, layover information, hotel information (if present), and manual Operational and Personal Events.
This data is used to provide the app's operational calendar, timeline, synchronization, and export features.
03 GEMS ID and User-Provided Identifiers
TripDataHub may allow you to enter a GEMS ID or similar operational identifier. This identifier is user-provided and used only inside TripDataHub — for profile identification, schedule organization, synchronization, or optional Friend Sharing.
TripDataHub does not use GEMS ID for employer authentication, does not verify employment status, and does not access official airline credential systems.
04 Apple iCloud / CloudKit Synchronization
TripDataHub uses Apple iCloud and CloudKit to synchronize app data across your own Apple devices. This may include imported and parsed schedule data, manual Operational Events, manual Personal Events, Crew Base settings, display preferences, and user-provided identifiers such as GEMS ID.
CloudKit also supports optional Friend Sharing. When you and another user mutually approve a connection, the schedule information needed for that feature is stored and synchronized through CloudKit so it can be shown to approved connections. Friend Sharing is optional, requires mutual approval by both users, and shared schedules are visible only between approved connections.
CloudKit is provided by Apple; your use of iCloud and CloudKit is also subject to Apple's terms and privacy policies. TripDataHub does not provide public social sharing, public schedule broadcasting, or a public directory.
05 PDF Export and Sharing
TripDataHub may allow you to export a Bid Period calendar or schedule view as a PDF. Export is initiated by you, and exported PDFs may include schedule data, operational events, and other calendar information visible in the app at the time of export. You are responsible for deciding where exported PDFs are saved, printed, AirDropped, or shared.
06 No Automated Credential Collection
TripDataHub does not collect, store, or transmit your schedule-system password, and does not perform automated credential harvesting, automated schedule-system access, or background account scraping. If the app includes a browser or WebView, authentication is performed manually by you.
07 Data Deletion
TripDataHub is designed to let you delete schedule data and manually created events inside the app. When data is synchronized through iCloud or CloudKit, deletion behavior may also depend on Apple's iCloud and CloudKit synchronization behavior. If you need help removing data, contact [email protected].
08 No Third-Party Analytics or Crash Reporting
TripDataHub does not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools inside the app — including Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Sentry, Crashlytics, Bugsnag, Instabug, Mixpanel, PostHog, or similar services. Apple may provide crash logs, diagnostics, or App Store analytics to developers through Apple's own developer tools, depending on your device settings and Apple's policies.
09 No Advertising or Tracking
TripDataHub does not use third-party advertising, an Advertising ID, behavioral advertising, cross-app tracking, data brokers, or third-party ad networks. TripDataHub does not sell user data.
10 Optional Support Link
TripDataHub is free to use. The app may include an optional link to support development, such as Buy Me a Coffee. Support is completely optional and does not unlock any additional app features, premium access, subscriptions, digital content, or paid functionality.
11 Data Sharing With Third Parties
TripDataHub does not sell your personal data and does not share your data with third-party advertisers or analytics providers. Data may be stored or processed through Apple services such as iCloud and CloudKit as required for app functionality, and may be handled by Apple system services when you choose to export, print, AirDrop, or share PDFs.
12 Website Hosting
The TripDataHub website and Privacy Policy page may be hosted through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process limited technical information — such as IP address, request metadata, security logs, and basic traffic analytics — to provide hosting, security, and performance services. This website hosting data is separate from TripDataHub app data; TripDataHub does not use third-party analytics tools inside the app.
13 Children's Privacy
TripDataHub is not intended for children. The app is designed as a schedule utility for users who manage their own schedule information.
14 Security
TripDataHub is designed to limit stored data to what is needed for app functionality, syncing, export, and sharing features. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. You should avoid importing, entering, exporting, or sharing information you do not want stored or displayed in the app.
15 Friend Sharing
TripDataHub includes optional Friend Sharing. You may choose to connect with other users through mutual approval, and schedule visibility is limited to approved connections.
TripDataHub does not provide public profile discovery, public schedule broadcasting, public social feeds, or one-way following. This policy may be updated as sharing functionality evolves.
16 Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If changes are made, the updated policy will be posted at the Privacy Policy URL with a new effective date.
17 Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or TripDataHub's data handling, contact [email protected].
